LISTON
Vice President of Creative Services
Claire brings
a combination of technical skill and creative excellence to Nautilus,
helping clients maximize their communications potential. She specializes
in creating “big business” standards of appearance for
small businesses and nonprofits, even on a budget, from needs assessment
through logo design and corporate identity. She is a Web site designer
extraordinaire, and manages our agency Web site as well as those
of many of our clients.
For nearly
ten years, Claire has worked for and with non-profit groups and
trade associations doing public relations, publications and meeting
planning. She launched her consulting business in 1998 and became
Nautilus’s first associate and most constant resource for
new media needs. She was profiled in the September 2000 issue of
Entrepreneur’s Start-ups magazine, where her customer-service
orientation was touted: “Serve your clients in as many ways
as you know how.” She thinks business should grow in the direction
of client needs, and she is a frequent early adaptor of new PR and
communications technologies and services.
At the end
of the day, Claire’s communications expertise goes to the
dogs. In the past three years, she has provided foster care and
training for more than 100 homeless canines. This passion fits well
with her love of hiking and taking long walks in her adopted hometown
of Alexandria, Virginia. And Claire loves the warm fuzzies—literally.
